(From McQueen Funeral Home)Halla Belle Hilbert, 84, passed from this life to her heavenly home on November 13, 2020 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri.
Hallie, as she often went by, was born on September 3, 1936, the oldest daughter of Delbert and Bessie (Niskern) Richmond of Rocky Comfort, Missouri where she graduated from Rocky Comfort High School.
On June 19, 1954 she was united in marriage to Allen Hilbert for over 60 years until his passing on May 23, 2015. To this union two sons were born, David and Bill Hilbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen; son, David and grandson, John.
Surviving are one son, Bill and his wife Barbara of Pierce City, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Hilbert of Golden City, Missouri; eight grandsons, Chris, Tim, Andrew, David Jr., Tommy, James, Steven and Delbert and their families along with five great grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
The oldest of seven children, she is survived by two brothers, Bud (Diana) Richmond and Jerry (Marla) Richmond both of Goodman, Missouri; four sisters, Dee Giles and Betty (Bill) Broadhurst of Independence, Missouri, Maxine (Gary) Bates of Wheaton, Missouri and Kay (Earl) McNeill of Rocky Comfort, Missouri along with several nieces and nephews.
Some of her favorite pastimes were reading and crocheting. Hallie was a very special person and will be greatly missed by all. Always in our hearts.
Services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
Contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Hallie.
