Dallas Campbell

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Dallas Ray Campbell went to be with Jesus, Thursday, December 31st at his home in Granby, Missouri at the age of 82, following a brief illness. Dallas was born on Thursday, April 24th, 1938, in Scott City, Missouri to Ovie and Alice Campbell. When Dallas was just 8 years old, his father died. His mother later married Eldon Rhoades.

On July 8th, 1962, in Granby, Missouri, Dallas married Naomi Faye Cole, the mother of their 13 children. Dallas started his working years alongside his stepfather, Eldon Rhoades, in the drywall construction business.

After completing his CO work in Kansas City, Missouri, Dallas continued working in construction: drywall and building houses. Dallas was still running his drywall company until he became ill in late November 2020.

Dallas could spot new construction from miles away. He was quick with math, had an excellent memory and his customers quickly became his friends. Dallas was so proud of his children and grandchildren. Oftentimes he would tell his friends or even strangers how God had blessed him with such a wonderful, wonderful family! Dallas loved telling stories about his childhood and he especially loved talking about his Creator and what he though heaven would be like.

Dallas is survived by his sister, Eldonna Rhoades and eleven children: Lenita and Doug Wall of Edmond, OK, Linus Campbell and Chandra Noteware of Rogersville, MO, Regina and Stan Witham of Inola, OK, Deneasa and Marshall Allen of Neosho, MO, Arlan and Karla Campbell of Stark City, MO, Releah and Jason Murphey of Gutherie, OK, Charla Campbell of Springfield, MO, Lindell and Patina Campbell of Ozark, MO, Darran and Julie Campbell of Springfield, MO, Sannetta Marsh of Billings, MO, Lacinda and Duane Linch of Start City, MO and Kristia and Shane Reeves of Neosho, MO.
