(From Knell Mortuary)Shelly Lynn Gonzalez passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in Carthage, Missouri, at the age of 65. Born on July 20, 1960, in California, Shelly's life was a testament to the power of unconditional love and the joy of family.
Shelly, known affectionately to her friends and family as a devoted mother, grandmother, and partner, is survived by her significant other, Rick Tiberio, and her loving children: Jeremy, Nathan, and Steven Gonzalez (Stephanie), and Nicole Joyner. Her legacy of love continues through her cherished grandchildren, Juliette, Jolie, Jianna, and Adeline Gonzalez, who were the light of her life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Larry and Donna (Hart) Joyner, and her brother, Ralph Joyner.
Throughout her life, Shelly embraced the role of homemaker with grace and dedication, creating a warm and welcoming home for all who entered. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family to the many animals she adored, especially her cats and dogs.
