Patrick “Pat” Lovejoy, 51 passed away September 2, 2017 in Carthage, MO. Pat was born October 19, 1955 in Santa Cruz, California to the late Robert Lee Lovejoy and Dorothy “Stevens” Lovejoy of Carthage, MO. Pat was a resident since 1972 and was a self-employed carpenter and handyman who enjoyed the outdoors.
Pat was united in marriage to Patricia Yeagar in 1989 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Carthage, she preceded him in death in 1994.
Pat is survived by his mother Dorothy Lovejoy of Carthage, Grandmother Elizabeth Ziebell of Webster, Iowa, two sons Brian Lovejoy and James Lovejoy (Kati) both of Springfield, MO, three brothers Steven Lovejoy (Jo) of Austin, Texas, Anthony Lovejoy (Kristin) of Huntington Beach, CA, and Michael Lovejoy (Tammy) of Topeka, KS. One grandson Benjamin Lovejoy. Pat is preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Yeager) Lovejoy and his dad Robert Lee Lovejoy.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
