(From Clark Funeral Home)Gerald Lee Strong, 65, Neosho, MO passed away April 30, 2021. He was born July 2, 1955 in Cheyenne, WY to Stella (Renfro) and Earl Strong.
Gerald worked in construction as a painter, then as a floor supervisor at Nutra Blend. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Gerald enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, his family, and especially being with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by six children, Tina Strong of Lake Charles, LA, Sharon Gilmore of Neosho, MO, Joshua Gilmore of Joplin, MO, Angela Lewis and husband, Dustin of Peculiar, MO, Rayna York of Neosho, and Marcus York of Neosho; two brothers, Bill Strong and wife, Barbara of Grand Prairie, TX and Rick Strong and wife, Velta of Anderson, MO; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and one great granddaughter.
Services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO. Private interment will take place at Tracy Cemetery, Anderson, MO at a later date. Contributions to honor Gerald may be made to Wounded Warriors, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
