Walter Raymond Dollison of Commerce, OK passed from this life Monday, May 03, 2021 at his home. He was 83.

Walter was born December 18, 1937 in Cardin, OK to Norman and Vera (Cooper) Dollison. He had lived in the Picher, Cardin and Commerce area all his life. He served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years. 

He was a tire builder for B.F. Goodrich in Miami, OK for 23 years and then worked for Holiday Inn in Joplin, Mo in the maintenance department. Walter was a member of the First Christian Church in Miami, OK.

Walter was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ray Dollison, Jr. and Douglas Thulin, his parents, 4 brothers, Clarence Dollison, George Dollison, Earl Dollison and Richard Dollison and 3 sisters, Cleta Ware, Mae Wilkins and Bessie Dollison.

Walter married Lois (Grassi) Dollison in 1975 and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include 4 sons, Dale Thulin and wife Pam of Noel, MO, Steve Thulin of Commerce, OK, Jeff Dollison of Commerce, OK and Tim Dollison of Picher, OK, 4 daughters, Kathy Browning of Fairland, OK, Judi Wells of Commerce, OK, Alice Hollon and husband Rob of Miami, OK and Terri Kennedy and husband James of Tennessee, 2 brothers, Ed Dollison of Miami, OK and Doug Dollison of Oklahoma, 1 sister, Deloris Johnson of Columbus, KS, 23 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the First Christian Church in Miami, OK. Pastor Brian Brubaker will officiate.
