June Elizabeth Wilson age 94 of Carl Junction passed away on Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center.
June was born on June 20, 1925 in Alcester, South Dakota to Earl and Elizabeth Leafstedt. June’s life in Alcester was devoted to her church, family and community. She was active in many church roles and school activities. June was an active mother and was renowned for her cooking and baking. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Webb City.
June married Dwight Wilson on August 28, 1947 and preceded her in death on February 27, 2015.
She is survived by three sons, Steven Wilson and wife Lori of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Clark Wilson and wife Rachelle of Carl Junction, Missouri, and Jeffrey D. Wilson and wife Sandy of Quapaw, Oklahoma; a brother Lawrence Leafstedt and wife Ev of Alcester, South Dakota; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 1:00 PM in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Ron Woody officiating.
