Linda Burch

Linda Lou (Trimble) Burch, 76 of Columbus, Kansas passed from this life on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Mercy Maude Norton, Columbus, KS.

Linda was born on August 14, 1943 in Picher, Oklahoma to the union of Walter B. and Helen Ruby (Perry) Trimble. She was united in marriage to Harley Leon Burch on October 10, 1960 in Treece, KS. Linda worked for awhile in nursing, then spent time at Ace in Columbus. She loved being a homemaker most of all. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially the grandchildren. Linda always enjoyed garage sales, looking to add to her collection of many things.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; son, Rusty Burch; sister, Jeniola McDowell; brother, Randy Trimble.








Linda is survived by her husband Harley Burch of the home; daughter, Michale Hess and husband Steve of Ozark, AL; two sons, Troy Burch and wife Amiee of Frisco, TX, and Travis Burch of Collinsville, OK; brother, Richard Trimble and wife Janell of Owasso, OK; two sisters, Waldo Kaye Smith of Galena, KS, and Billie Cox and husband James of Joplin, MO; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In respect to the current COVID-19 outbreak, there are no public services at this time. Burial will take place at the Greenlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 10:00-4:00 p.m., at Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus.
