Linda McNee

Linda Kay McNee, age 79 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021.

She was born March 4, 1942, in Joplin, Missouri to Herbert Ladd and Faye (Smith) Ladd.

Linda worked 38 and a half years for Tamko as an accountant. She also worked in the library at Forest Park Church where she loved spending time.

She married the love of her life Roger McNee on November 12, 1961, and he survives. She is survived by one sister, Virginia Crusa, of Carl Junction, MO; two sons, J.R. McNee (Stephanie), and Marty McNee (Jamie); 4 grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and one sister Betty Thomas.

She enjoyed reading and was a beautiful seamstress including needle point and quilting. Linda loved spending time with family, hunting, fishing, all kinds of sports, traveling, and riding motorcycles in many states with Roger.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 4, 2021, at Forest Park Church with John Swadley officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to Mission Joplin and may be sent in care of the Mortuary.
