(From Parker Mortuary)Mary Esther Bryant, 72, of Duenweg, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Solace House in Joplin.
Mary was born September 13, 1949 in Joplin, Missouri to the late Albert Ester and Winema Fern (Collins) Crandall. Mary was a lifelong resident of Joplin. She worked for over twenty years in housekeeping at St. Johns Hospital before retiring.
Mary was the second oldest of nine children. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, watching true crime shows, and had a true love for animals, especially her cat peanut. If you wanted to know the weather forecast, Mary was who you needed to call. Mary cherished the memories created with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her two husbands, John Gibson and Gerald Bryant; sister, Debra Diane Piper; nephews, RJ Daniels, Steven Crandall, Michael Piper; niece, Sasha Crandall.
Mary is loving survived by her siblings, Winema Scott and husband, Tom, Patricia Russell and husband, Steve, Albert Crandall and wife, Patsy, Ed Crandall and wife, Joyce, Dorothy Goodrich, Arley Crandall and wife, Barbara, Teresa Phillips, and husband, Bobby; together with many extended family and friends.
No formal services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
