(From Parker Mortuary)Sharon Ann Bradfield, age 73, Joplin, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Spring River Christian Village in Joplin, Missouri.
Sharon was born on May 24, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri to the late Lathe Edward and Florence Ellen (Clifton) Bradfield. She was a lifelong Joplin resident.
Sharon was a teacher at Kiddie Kollege Preschool and Joplin Regional Center where she cherished getting to enrich the lives of the children who were in her class. She later became a mail clerk for the Joplin Post Office and spent many years there before retiring. Sharon was an avid reader and loved to plan and take trips with family across the country. She cherished those memories created with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was also preceded in death by a sister Helen Bradfield.
Sharon is loving survived by her sister, Karen Bradfield and Ernie Blackford; son Steven Bradfield and wife, Shelley; niece, Samantha Bradfield; nephew, Cole Bradfield and wife, Ryleigh; together with several extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Parker Mortuary, Joplin with Pastor Doug Wilkerson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the mortuary from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Golden Paw Pet Rescue in care of the of the mortuary.
