Andy Foreman

Andy Foreman, age 85 of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away on December 22, 2023. He was born on May 19, 1938, in Clouds Creek, Oklahoma to Richard Foreman and Sallie Foreman (Birdchopper).

He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Sarah Foreman; his brothers, Lee, Ed, Johnny, Charlie, Jack, Martin Foreman and Thomas and his wife Ruth Bernice Foreman.

He is survived by his two sons, Calvin Foreman of the home, Bryan Foreman and wife Rachel of Jay, OK; His Sisters, Nina Vann and Mae Wolfe; Sisters-In-Law, Francis Tyson of West Siloam Springs, AR, Rita Rutherford and her husband Russell of Southwest City, MO; Grandsons, Kasen Proctor of Jay, OK, Isiah Ramos and his wife Brie Harrison of Colcord, OK; Great-Grandkids, Evelyn Ruth Ramos, Raiden Jack Ramos, Hazen Sage Ramos, Lyra Jolee Scogin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins extended family and friends.

Andy was a general laborer and worked many jobs at a dairy farm, cattle farm and an apple orchard before he and his family settled in Clouds Creek near Colcord.

When they moved to Clouds Creek, he started playing marbles with his family and friends. He played in many tournaments and won a lot of jackets and T-shirts. He was saved at a young age and was a lifetime member of Old Clouds Creek Baptist Church, where he was one of the founding original members and helped build the church.

Andy’s Wake Service will be held at 6:00pm, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St. Jay, OK 74346, followed by Andy’s family Visitation to greet friends until 8:00pm.

Andy’s Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 1:00pm, January 3, 2024, at Old Clouds Creek Baptist Church, 49080 County Road 627 Jay, OK 74346, followed by his funeral procession to Clouds Creek Cemetery.

Andy’s burial will be held at Clouds Creek Cemetery, Jay, OK 74346.
