Terri Greenfeather

(From Parker Mortuary)

Terri Lynn Greenfeather, a beacon of laughter and love, passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 70 in Joplin, MO.

She was born on October 4, 1953, in Joplin, Mo. to the late Don Johnson and Doris Selby. Terri's life was a testament to her faith-filled heart and her boundless capacity to bring joy to those around her.

Terri grew up in Joplin, Mo. and graduated from Parkwood High School in 1971. She spent her career at Labarge in Joplin until her retirement. Terri’s decision to retire was made with love, as she chose to devote her time to caring for her mother. She enjoyed shopping with and for her grandchildren, and scrapbooking, which preserved the precious memories she made with her beloved family and friends. Her faith was strong; Terri loved Jesus with all her heart and shared His teachings with everyone she met.

At home, Terri was the cornerstone of her family. She was a loving mother to Toni Anderson (James), Tomi West (Martin), and Bryan Messner and she held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Mauree, Ian, Justin, Maya, Paige, Maggie, Kaleb, Maximus, and Sadie; great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Tatum, Owen, and Theo. Each of them benefited from her love, humor, and the stories she would share that were always filled with wisdom and laughter. She is also survived by her siblings; Kim Drury, Brenda Green, and Brian Johnson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear son, Bryan Messner.

Those who knew Terri will remember her as the embodiment of joy; her laughter was infectious, and her spirit was generous. She lived a life defined by her loving nature and her unwavering faith.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Joplin Full Gospel Church. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Mo.
