Jerry Thomas Faules, Neosho, entered into rest on April 28, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital at the age of 74.
Jerry was born March 7, 1943 in Neosho, the son of Jay and Ilene (Nichols) Faules. He was a graduate of Neosho High School, class of 1961 and Harding University. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had worked as a fork lift operator and in receiving at La Z Boy Midwest in Neosho. Jerry was a member of the Newtonia Battlefield Protection, a lifetime member of Ducks Unlimited; the Neosho National Fish Hatchery and George Washington Carver National Monument. He enjoyed reading civil war and gun books. He was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.
Jerry and Louise (Maness) were married on July 8, 1977 and she survives. Additional survivors include two sisters in law, Glenda Justice and husband, Mark and Barbara Faules; very close friends, Glen and Karen Honeycutt and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John.
Services will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2 pm at the Hillcrest Church of Christ, Danny Boggs and Don Deffenbaugh will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hazel Green Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Glen Honeycutt, John Deffenbaugh, Rick Hyder, Bill Reiboldt, Mark Justice and Mike Kidwell and serving as honorary pallbearer, Wayne Douthitt. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Monday evening at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, from 6 to 7 pm.
