(From Ozark Funeral Home)Danny Joe Frye, 77, of Southwest City, MO, entered Heaven’s Gates at 12:57 pm on Friday April 30, 2021.
Born May 11, 1943, to Charley and Clarice (Drake) Frye, he was united in marriage on December 26, 1962, to Lois Randall.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents Charley and Clarice and infant daughter Danelle Lynn.
Danny is survived by his wife Lois Frye, son Danny Russell and daughter-in-law Shana, daughters Danae Louise Hardy and Dana Rae, honorary children John and Connie Carter, grandsons Drew, Dalton, Derek and Charley, granddaughter Dani, brother Jim and sister-in-law Louise, sister Charlotte Priest and brother-in-law David, brother Gary and sister-in-law Joneta, and by many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends and extended family.
Danny retired from CMC Rail Salvage in 2012 after more than 50 years with the company. Up to his death, he continued to operate his much-loved farm with Murphy, his red heeler, constantly at his side.
Danny was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge #544 in Jay, OK.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home.
