Brian Kinkade

Brian Eugene Kinkade, age 62, of Neosho, was born June 26, 1961 in Joplin, MO, son of the late David Eugene Kinkade and Bonnie Sue (Bates) Kinkade. He passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Mercy of Joplin after a lengthy illness.

Brian graduated from Neosho High School, then worked for Super Sweet feeds, Bastian Wholesale in Joplin, Diamond Special Road District and Seneca Special Road District.






 

Brian was ordained as a deacon of New Hope Baptist Church in Neosho in 1994 where he also served as a Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Superintendent. He was proud of his church and served any way he could. He loved God, his family, and his church family very much. Anyone who visited with Brian for very long would hear his testimony and know of his faith in the Lord, and hear his many jokes and stories. He will be missed by many.

He married Paula J. Clark on September 21, 1991 at New Hope Baptist Church in Neosho.

She survives along with his children, Amy Renee Kinkade of Warrensburg, MO, Joshua Eugene Kinkade, and Jenna Marie Kinkade both of Neosho; sister, Roxann Carr and husband Michael of Neosho, grandsons, Jacob Kinkade and Jaxon Kinkade both of Carl Junction, MO, and six nephews.








Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Burkhart Cemetery, Racine, MO with Pastor Tom Hall officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Kinkade, Jacob Kinkade, Jaxon Kinkade, Kevin Carr, Nickolas Ritter, and Thomas Bates.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
