Janeen McDonald

Janeen Marie McDonald, aged 70, passed away on October 8, 2023. She was born on August 9, 1953, in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Janeen dedicated her career to secretarial work, serving as a Secretary for the Neosho Daily News. Her responsibilities included proofreading and typing, and she also worked as a secretary at Prescott College in Arizonia.








Her faith was a central part of her life, and she found comfort and community as a devoted member of the Bible Holiness Church. Janeen had a deep passion for reading, and a genuine appreciation for music, and treasured the moments spent with her family. 

On June 6, 1975, she entered into a loving marriage with Travis McDonald in Joplin, Missouri. Their union was a source of enduring love, and Travis survives her.

Janeen is also survived by her two sons, Ryan McDonald and his wife, Gwen, and Steven McDonald, as well as his significant other, Tindy Pitlan. Her two beloved grandchildren, Alex and Sia McDonald, brought immense joy to her life. In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by two brothers and one sister.

Janeen's memory will be cherished by her family. She was preceded in death by one brother. Janeen Marie McDonald will be remembered for her dedicated work, her love of music, and the deep connections she had with her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Services are pending.
