Cheryl Brunner


Cheryl Lynn Brunner (Anderson), 63, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on October 4th, 2023, surrounded by her children Jeremiah and Christina, and former husband Jerome Brunner at Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born in Superior, WI, on January 20th, 1960, the daughter of Richard and Sandra Anderson of Lake Nebagamon, WI.

Cheryl grew up in Lake Nebagamon. She graduated in 1978 from Northwestern High School in Maple, WI. After graduating, she married Jerome Brunner and raised their family together in Prescott, WI. She worked many years at 3M in St. Paul.








Cheryl is survived by her son, Jeremiah Brunner (Kasey) Carl Junction, MO; daughter, Christina Brunner (Brock Strain) Hudson, WI; and her former husband, Jerome Brunner, Brule, WI; sister, Monica Lucus (Brent) Forest Lake, MN; brother, Richard Anderson, Hudson, WI; grand-children, Brynn, Emma and Myla Brunner, all from Carl Junction MO. Additionally, Cheryl is survived by her nephews, Seth Anderson of Florida and Derek Lucus of Forest Lake, her niece Natalie Lucus of Forest Lake; as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Sandra Anderson. Grandparents, Volmer and Ruth Anderson from Lake Nebagamon, WI.








Cheryl was a vibrant and strong individual; known for her hard work and impeccable fashion sense. She was devoted to her family and truly loved them. She loved Christ and knew she would one day live eternally with him. She will be missed by all her friends and family.

A ceremony to celebrate Cheryl’s life will be held on November 11th, 2023, at House of Hope Church, 7184 S. Church Road in Lake Nebagamon, WI. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects with a visitation beginning at 11:00 am followed by a service, with Pastor Chad Cracraft officiating, to begin at 12:00 pm. Lunch will be provided in the downstairs of the church.



The family of Cheryl would once again like to thank you all for your ongoing love and support during this difficult time of grief.
