Stanley Truman Munsell passed away peacefully at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis Indiana on December 31, 2024. He celebrated his heavenly homecoming a few minutes before the New Year and was received into his Heavenly father's arms at the age of 68.
Stan was born June 22, 1956, in Flint Michigan, to parents Truman and Muriel (Holland) Munsell. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Deanna Munsell and great nephew Alexzay Munsell.
He is survived by his former wife of 25 years, Patricia (Merrill) Munsell of Benzonia MI, children Marc (Shea) Munsell of Benzonia MI, Daniel (Elizabeth) Munsell of Carthage MO and Michael (Cassie) Munsell of Manistee MI. Stan is also survived by siblings Patrick Munsell of Kansas City MO, Gerald Munsell of Kokomo IN, Marcella Munsell of Tipton IN, Dale (Lori) Munsell of Clearwater, FL, Wesley (Susie) Munsell of Jonesboro IN and Bethany (Munsell) Alvord of Amboy IN.
Stan is lovingly remembered by grandchildren Paisley, Archer, Wally, Boone, Ruger, Remington and Colt Munsell, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Stan graduated from Croswell Lexington High School in Croswell Michigan. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University, formerly know as Marion College in Marion Indiana. He also attended a trade school for auto body work in Lenawee County, Adrian Michigan.
Stan was known as "Mr. Fix-It" because of his ability to fix just about anything. He was a Jack of all trades, loved nature, including fishing, hunting and anything that involved the outdoors.
Stan loved to help others and was readily available to lend a hand when needed.

Stan was a long-time member of Sweetser Wesleyan Church. A memorial service will be held at
Sweetser Wesleyan, 200 West Delphi Pike, Sweetser Indiana, on January 11, 2025. Visitation is from 9 – 11 AM with a service to follow. The Rev. Dr. Matthew Stewart will be officiating.
