(From Clark Funeral Home)John Charles Johnson was born on June 25, 1951, in Neosho, Missouri, one of three sons to Charley Wayne and Nellie Marie (Allen) Johnson.
He entered into rest on April 18, 2025, at his home in Granby, at the age of 73. John was a lifelong area resident and was in the first graduating class of East Newton School.
He worked as a machine technician for FAG Bearings from 1977 until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed collecting antique tractors and woodworking.
John is survived by two brothers, Ron Johnson and wife, Thanh of Joplin and Kevin Johnson of Granby; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Yocum, Jeffery Johnson, Hanh Nguyen, Hoang Nguyen and Dusty Johnson; numerous great nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby at 1 pm and funeral services will follow at 2 pm.
