Leon Carman

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Leon F. Carman, age 93, of Neosho, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 25, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1932, in Joplin, Missouri, to Arthur and Beulah (Potter) Carman.

Leon proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After his military service, he built a successful career as a precision tool and die machinist, working with Lockheed Aircraft and Micro-Tool Engineering.

He was a man of many talents and interests, enjoying fishing, boating, and gardening. One of his greatest joys in life was teaching his three grandsons to swim — a lasting legacy of love, patience, and time well spent.

Leon was a member of the Assemblies of God and lived a life grounded in faith and service. He is survived by his devoted wife, Grace Anderson Carman; his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Mike West; grandsons Eli (Lisa) West, Adrian West, and Boone West; eight great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jerry Carman; daughter-in-law, Brenda Carman; daughter, Trudie Reynolds; granddaughter, Cheryl Nash; and several other cherished family members.

Leon will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
