Margo Belisle

(From Lakin Funeral Home)

Margo Marie Belisle, age 62, of Golden, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in Eagle Rock, Missouri, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Saturday, September 19, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, to Jim Belisle and Lillian (Belisle) Welker.

Margo was a graduate of Willamette High School in Eugene, Oregon. Throughout the years, she worked as a waitress at several restaurants in Monett, including Black Kettle, Sunrise, and Stars. But to those who knew her, Margo was so much more than the places where she worked. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and remembered.

Margo never met a stranger. If you had the privilege of meeting her even once, chances are you remembered her forever. She was witty, intelligent, quick with a smile, and had a wonderful way of bringing laughter and warmth wherever she went. She genuinely enjoyed being around people and made many friendships throughout her life. Her home was always immaculate, and she loved nothing more than opening its doors to family and friends, filling her home with conversation, laughter, and love.

Above all, Margo treasured her family. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. She gladly babysat them while their parents worked and was always there to love, encourage, and spoil them. The memories she created with her grandchildren will remain precious treasures that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Margo was a Christian who loved God deeply. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she spoke passionately about her love for the Lord and was never hesitant to share her faith with others. She wanted those around her to know the hope and love she had found through God.

Margo lived her life with a generous heart, a quick wit, a strong faith, and an unmistakable love for people. She touched countless lives simply by being herself. Her laughter, her stories, her kindness, and the love she gave so freely will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though her time here was far too short, the love she shared will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Margo is survived by her five children, Anthony Ray (Becca) Belisle, Aaron Scott Belisle, Andrew Lee Belisle, Katherine “Katie” Marie (Jason Nunnally) Morgan, and Alexia Joye Belisle; six grandchildren, Carter James Collins, Leena Mae Nunnally, Jaden Rain Nunnally, Esmuray Dae Nunnally, Dean Paul Nunnally, and Everlee Marie Belisle; four siblings, James Belisle, Kelly Belisle, Ellis Welker, Jr., and Mary Ann Kennedy; stepfather, Ellis Welker, Sr.; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Belisle and Lillian Welker; her brother, Christopher Butcher; and her nephew, Dylan Ellis Welker.

Margo was cremated according to her wishes. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, Missouri.
