Randy L. Bland age 65 of Oronogo, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
He was born in Hastings, Nebraska to William Bland and Wahnetta (Wright) Bland on August 7, 1951. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard, loved to work on cars and also was a race car fan.
Randy married Linda (Lynch) Bland on February 14, 1970 in Carterville, Missouri and she survives at the home. He is also survived by his daughters, Carrie Rumble and husband Darrell of Oronogo, Christy Watkins and husband James, Randi Bland of Oronogo; sisters, May Carter and husband Walter of Carterville, Nellie Coffman and husband John of Eldon, MO; brother, Martin Bland and wife Judy of Carterville; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:30 AM with full military honors at Oronogo Cemetery. The family will be present for a visitation on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
