(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Dustin Tyler Massey, age 32 of Morley, MI., formerly of Carl Junction, MO., passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Dustin was born on June 7, 1989, in Joplin, MO. the son of Brian and Kim (Smith) Massey. He graduated from Carl Junction High School in 2008. Dustin worked as a Sales Manager for Rent-A-Center. He formerly worked for multiple farms in both Missouri and Michigan. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting, any excuse to be outside.
Dustin enjoyed spending time with his children. When visiting Remington, they loved to swim and hunt together. Dustin spent day in and day out with his step-children, Laila loved his bed time stories and helping Dustin outside on the farm. He enjoyed watching wrestling and even acting it out with Jon. He and Jon spent many nights out in the woods hunting and enjoying nature.
In 2016, Dustin moved to Michigan and on April 21, 2018, married Trisha Rae in Eureka Springs, AR. Together they enjoyed weekend getaways, banquets, fishing, traveling and recently they became members of the Eagles. But most of all they enjoyed spending time together as a family.
Survivors include his wife, Trisha Perrin-Massey, his children; Remington Massey of Oronogo, MO., Laila Cribley and Jon Cribley, both of the home, his parents; Brian and Kim Massey of Carl Junction, his grandfather; Gary Smith, and brother; Colton Massey.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to National Wild Turkey Federation in care of the mortuary.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Wellspring Church in Webb City, MO. Burial will follow at Carl Junction Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
