He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, June Ellen Wood Reddick, daughter Janice Reddick (Gary Barr), son Larry Robert Reddick, daughter Joyce Bolton, son Randall Franklin Reddick (Carmen Ramos), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Larry joined the U.S. Army shortly after the end of WWII at the age of 17, soon after graduating from Southeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He trained as a photographer in NYC, and was assigned to the Aleutian Islands before being discharged in 1947. He later graduated from the University of Kansas with a business degree.

He joined the Western Auto family and had a franchise in Joplin, where he met his future wife, June Wood, on a blind date. They were married on March 2, 1952 in Joplin. They later moved to Kansas City, and then Sedalia, Missouri, continuing with Western Auto. Larry then bought a Western Auto store in Lawrence, Kansas, which he and June managed for the next 15 years.

After selling the store in Lawrence, at age 50, Larry became an auditor for the state of Kansas. He traveled the state to audit schools for the next 20 years.

After retiring, he and June moved to Springfield, Missouri to be closer to her family and to achieve his dream of retirement in the Ozarks. They also spent those retirement years traveling to visit their children. He and June recently moved to Louisville, Kentucky to be closer to family. Even through his moves to Springfield and Kentucky, he never stopped following and rooting for the KU Jayhawks, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Kansas City Royals.
