Anna Armstrong

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

Anna Marie Armstrong, 60, of Noel, Missouri, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly of natural causes at her residence on November 20, 2023. Born on March 31, 1963, in Joplin, Missouri, the only daughter born to the union of the late Derrol and JoAnn (Ludiker) Armstrong.

She was raised and attended school in Anderson, Missouri. Anna believed in hard work. She carried these values throughout her life, dedicating many years of service as a custodian for the Seneca School District. She later worked at Gallery Graphics in Noel as well as Tyson and Simmons Foods.

Anna was a woman of many interests, but her passion for gardening was unmatched. She found great joy in working in her yard, nurturing plants, and creating a beautiful outdoor space that reflected her love for nature. Anna was also an advocate for animals, often opening her home to stray pets and caring for their welfare. Her love for animals was only surpassed by the love she had for her family. She was a devoted mother and sister, always putting her family's needs before her own.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Charlee Pace-Harrell and her husband, Elijah, of Exeter, Missouri. She also leaves behind three brothers, Ronald Armstrong of Hart, Missouri, Robert Armstrong also of Hart, and Derrol Armstrong and his wife, Carol, of Noel, Missouri. Anna was a cherished aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Anna was many things - loving, interesting and friendly - but above all, she was outspoken. She was never one to shy away from telling it like it is, her honesty was refreshing. As we remember Anna, we celebrate her life and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday evening, November 30, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Bob Holloway officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
