Frances Robinson

Frances Alma Robinson, born to George Robert and Mary Ann (Wilson) Huffman on June 2, 1932, in Neosho, MO, peacefully concluded her earthly journey on November 26, 2023, at the age of 91. 

Frances was a lifelong resident of the area, where she forged cherished connections and everlasting memories. She devoted her career to serving others, working as a cook at Westview School and Sale Hospital, as well as dedicating numerous years to Eagle Pitcher in Seneca before her well-deserved retirement. 








Frances's vibrant spirit found solace in creativity, manifested through her love for sewing, crocheting, and knitting. Her days were often brightened by indulging in word searches and immersing herself in books as an avid reader. She was an active member of the Bethany Baptist Church, finding solace and community within its walls.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jim W. Gibson and wife Sherryl of Neosho, Debora Weldon and husband Buck of Neosho, and Keith Gibson of Neosho. She is also survived by her stepchildren: Steven Robison and wife Debora, Susan Conness and husband David, and Laura Brinkman and husband David, a brother, Jim Huffman, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Frances is preceded in death by her two beloved husbands, James Robert Gibson and Glen Robinson, as well as her parents and five siblings, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

Services to honor Frances's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 29, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, interment will follow at the New Salem Cemetery in Neosho. Friends and well-wishers are welcome to visit Clark Funeral Home in Neosho from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to pay their respects and sign the register book during an open viewing on Tuesday, November 28.
