Charles Spencer

(From Parker Mortuary)

Charles D. Spencer, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 12, 2025, in his hometown of Joplin, Missouri, where he had been a lifelong resident since his birth on July 28, 1951.

Charles's early life in Joplin set the stage for a man who would become known for his skilled hands and generous heart. He devoted many years to his profession as a welder and fabricator, where his craftsmanship left a lasting impression on both the projects he worked on and the people he worked with

Charles's interests were as eclectic as they were passionate. He was an avid fisherman, finding joy and tranquility in the quiet hours spent by the water. His love for exploration led him to visit every flea market within driving distance, always on the hunt for his next treasure. Charles was a collector of everything, each item holding a story and a special place in his heart.

Charles's legacy is carried on by his loving family, including his son, Charles Spencer Jr. and wife Amanda; his son, Sam Spencer of Webb City, MO; and his daughter, Michelle Miller of Diamond, MO. His numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored, will continue to feel his influence in their lives for generations to come.

As we bid farewell to Charles D. Spencer, we celebrate a life lived with joy, a spirit of adventure, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. His story is one of love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family and friendship. May he rest in peace, knowing he has left an indelible mark on this world.
