Linda Bridges

Mrs. Linda Louise Bridges, 67, of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, after a recent decline in health.

Linda entered this life on November 7, 1950, in Anderson, Missouri, born to the union of the late Lewis and Margie (Whitehill) Herring. She was raised in the Hart Community in rural McDonald County Missouri. She was a lifelong area resident of McDonald and Newton County, residing in Neosho since 2003. Linda was a hardworking and devoted homemaker throughout her life. She loved children and was a wonderful Mother. She enjoyed facebooking, reading Gods word, gospel music, video games and spending countless hours with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David and Billy Herring.

Linda is survived by her four children, Mandy Myers and husband, Larry, of Granby, Missouri, Mary Williams of Neosho, Missouri, Michael Robeson and husband, Ray, of Springfield, Missouri and Jason Bridges and wife, Shawna, of Neosho; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Judy Mersman of Webb City, Missouri, Jane Ball of Seneca, Missouri, Donna Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Susan McKee of Seneca; a brother, Robert Herring also of Seneca; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bridges are 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Bro. Bob Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Calvin Idell, Coti Anderson, Cody Thompson, Larry Spencer, Eddie Spencer and Mark Williams. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorials are being directed to the New Bethel Cemetery Care Fund c/o the funeral home.
