Maria G. Gutierrez, 57, Carthage, MO, passed away early Sunday morning, March 25, 2018 at her home. Maria Guadalupe Martinez Ramirez was born December 12, 1960 in Santa Gertrudis, Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico to Pablo Martinez and Juana Ramirez. Maria married David Gutierrez on April 30, 1981; he survives. She was a homemaker and attended St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Carthage.
Survivors include her mother, her husband, three daughters, Brenda Gutierrez, Carthage, Madeline Gutierrez, Carthage, and Eneyda Gutierrez, Carthage; one son, Farbel Gutierrez, Carthage; three brothers, Francisco Martinez, Tulsa, OK, Julio Martinez, Carthage, Juven Martinez, Mexico; two sisters, Ana Martinez, Ft. Worth, TX, and Amelia Martinez, Ft. Worth, TX; five grandchildren and several extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral mass will be held 6 pm, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Carthage, MO. Fr. Jose Marino Novoa will officiate. Visitation will be held 1-5 pm, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
