Wanda Joyce Killingsworth, age 78, Webb City, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at her home with family at her side.
Wanda was born September 30, 1939 in Greenfield, Missouri, daughter of the late Loyd Bennett and Cora Dill Bennett. She graduated from Greenfield High School, and worked most of her life as a stay at home mother. She married Herman D. Killingsworth on her birthday in 1980. She enjoyed traveling the country with Herman while he was a truck driver. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2016. In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Bennett.
Survivors include her children, Jack Van Hooser and wife Brenda of Coweta, Oklahoma, David Van Hooser and wife Loretta of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and daughter, Angela Killingsworth of Webb City; seven grandchildren, Matthew Brabson, Joseph Brabson, Tabatha Killingsworth, Amisha Killingsworth, Danika Killingsworth, Heather Van Hooser, and Austin Van Hooser; seven great-grandchildren, Hailey Brabson, James Brabson, Hunter Killingsworth, Serkan Kurt, Amirah Teeter, Adalia Teeter, and Azeah Killingsworth.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Duenweg Assembly of God, 7380 E. 20th St., Joplin, with Pastor Allen Bennett officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
