(From Derfelt Funeral Home)With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our son, Brandon James Atchison on June 6th. 2024. Brandon was born on September 23, 2005 in Pittsburg, Kansas and was a lifetime resident of Carl Junction, MO.
He enjoyed the outdoors. Hiking, fishing, camping. Video games and a variety of music. He was brave and stood up for his beliefs and others. He loved his family and close friends. And he was always willing to help all of us.
He is survived by his mother Starlette Atchison and step father Robert Davis, 2 sisters Justice Atchison and Kysha Lansaw, husband Matthew, Montana Lansaw wife Kailee, Adalyn Lansaw. Sebastian Lansaw, Kalyn lansaw and Ashlyn lansaw. Grandfather's Thomas Bicknell and Bill Cushman, as well as a large extended family who love and miss him very much.
Services are under direction of Derfelt Funeral Home in Galena Ks, where visitation will be held on Tuesday June 18th between 6 and 7pm. Services will be graveside at Oak Hill Cemetery Wednesday June 19th at 10am.
Pallbearers serving will be Thomas Bicknell, Matthew Lansaw, Montana Lansaw, Marty Hughes, Jay Atchison, Rick Dousa, and Jimmy Dodge, with Pastor Clint Silvertooth officiating.
