Mary Henry

Mary Loraine Henry, 82, of Reeds, Missouri passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at St. Luke's’ Nursing Center in Carthage, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.

Loraine was born on Monday, November 3, 1941 in rural Jasper County, Missouri to the union of the Robert Don and Ora Belle (Lunderman) Triplett.







She was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School. On September 2, 1960 she was united in marriage to Cecil Ray Henry, sharing sixty-four years of wonderful memories. 

Loraine was employed with Safeway Foods for twenty years, also enjoyed working in the gift shop at Precious Moments and later retiring from Leggett and Platt. She was a very loyal and dedicated employee throughout her career. 

Loraine was the best mother, grandmother and friend to all, she was very kind and helped anyone in need. She was the best cook around; her banana cream pies were legendary as well as her chicken and noodles and bread pudding. She loved to crochet, quilt and sew. Loraine will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Bob Triplett.








Loraine is survived by her husband, Ray; children, Cindy Henry Houlihan and husband, Michael, Gina Henry Matter and husband, John, Tina Henry Montgomery, and husband, Jason and Bryan Scott Henry and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Vanessa Houlihan, Cassie Nichols and husband, Terry, Katie Reynolds and husband Preston, Felicia Matter, Victoria Almeter and husband, Curtis, Kris Montgomery and wife, Micaelyn, Logan Montgomery, Laura Montgomery and Danielle Smart and husband, Gabe; six great-grandchildren, Paxton Reynolds, Scarlett Reynolds, Paisley Nichols, Greyson Nichols, Mackinsey Nichols and Michael Houlihan; and brother, Larry D. Triplett and wife, Judy; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Lorraine are 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024 with pastors Kenji Harrington and Deloris Click officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
