(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Daniel Ray Dixon of Joplin, MO passed from this life Friday, February 18, 2022 at Solace Home of the Ozarks in Joplin, MO. He was 66.
Daniel was born July 15, 1955 to Elmo G. and Winona J (Jones) Dixon in Neosho, MO. He had lived in Miami, OK for 2 years then moving to Joplin, MO.
He graduated from Topeka High School and studied at University of Phoenix and was a former Engineer at South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad.
Survivors include 4 sons, Christopher Dixon, David Paulson, Justin Dixon and Kirk Dixon. 2 daughters, Chanel Dixon and Lisa Dixon, 2 grandchildren, Meagon Sandefar and Chase Dixon.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Roger Flint will officiate. Chris Dixon, David Paulson, Justin Dixon, Kirk Dixon and Chanel Dixon will serve as pallbearers.
