Twyla Williams

Twyla Louise Williams, 87, of Carthage, Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2022, in Carl Junction, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. Twyla was born on October 12, 1934, to Henry Baker and Marie “Foland” Baker in Carthage. Twyla was a loving mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved listening to music, doing crossword puzzles, and Jesus. She really enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, and singing. She was a warm and caring woman who tried to be happy as much as she could be.

Twyla was united in marriage to Frank Williams on June 22, 1975, in Carthage; he preceded her in death.








Twyla is survived by two sons, Charles Silvers (Velesta) and Jack Silvers (Janice); three daughters Janet Frost, Patricia Ellenwood (Tim), and Robin Boswell (Jack); one brother Wayne Baker; 17 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Frank Williams, Twyla is preceded in death by one son Jerry Silvers, and her parents Henry and Marie Baker.

A funeral service is scheduled for Twyla at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Carthage. A visitation will be held at the Ulmer Funeral Home on Monday night, February 28, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The burial will be at Fasken Cemetery in Carthage following the funeral service.

The family asked that any contributions be made to Fasken Cemetery.
