Hollis Osborne

Hollis Paul Osborne, 92, of Carthage, Missouri passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Hollis was born in Golden City, Missouri on September 12, 1929 to Olyn Ralph Osborne and Lilly Pearl “Howard” Osborne. He was the oldest of three children, with a brother, Jack Osborne and a sister, MayBelle Osborne Adams. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, leaving a legacy of his love of God and service to others.








On September 3, 1950, Hollis married his high school sweetheart, Nina Louise Maddox in Golden City, Missouri. They were married for 71 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. Hollis was an entrepreneur and started many businesses, including MoArk Productions of Neosho, Missouri, which he successfully ran for over 40 years.

Hollis is preceded in death by his parents, Olyn and Lilly Osborne, and his sister, MayBelle Osborne Adams.

Hollis is survived by his loving wife, Nina Osborne; four children, Holly Adams (Randy), Paul Osborne (Ronda), Ron Osborne (Kim), and Karen Downs (Danny); eleven grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service is scheduled for Hollis at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Fairview Christian Church in Carthage, Missouri. Military Honors will be immediately following the funeral at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.
