(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Raymond L. Bandy, 90, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest January 29, 2022 at his home.
Raymond Luther Bandy SR. was born June 21, 1931 in Yukon, MO the son of Luther and Elsie (Ice) Bandy.
Raymond loved farming, tractor pulling, water skiing and teaching people to ski, being outdoors, Quail hunting, Frog gigging, working on vehicles and trucks. He was a mechanical genius developing many things that helped many people. He loved to work out problems and math was very easy for him. Raymond loved to work behind the scenes. Raymond was a member of the Racine Christian Church.
Raymond L. Bandy married Louise Livingston April 2, 1952 in Springfield, MO and she preceded him in death July 27, 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bobby Ray Bandy and one great-grandson, Silas Bandy.
Survivors include his children Raye Frerer and husband, Fred, Joplin, MO, Raymond Bandy Jr. and wife Jan, Mountain Home, AR, Doug Bandy and wife Melina, Granby, MO, Chris Bandy, Seneca and Dawn Turner, Haskell, OK; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 1:45pm prior to the service.
Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Racine Christian Church with John St. Clair officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery with Caiton Bandy, Corbin Bandy, Nathan Bandy, Luke Bandy, Joshua Bandy, Matthew Bandy, Patrick Bandy and Peter Turner serving as pallbearers.
