(From Clark Funeral Home)Roberta Faulk, age 97, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Medicalodge in Neosho, Missouri. She was born April 26, 1924, one of ten children to Hiram and Katy Kauffman Burford.
Roberta married William Faulk on December 13, 1947 in Houston, Texas. After retiring from the Fordyce Picture Frame Company, Fordyce, Arkansas, they moved to Joplin, Missouri to be near their daughter. Roberta moved to Neosho in January of 2017. She was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church.
William preceded Roberta in death on July 3, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings. Roberta is survived by one daughter, Susan Carlsten and husband, Bill of Neosho; one granddaughter, Julie Christianson and husband, Bryan of Overland Park, Kansas; two great grandsons, John and Andrew Christianson of Overland Park, Kansas; friend, Vicki Kramer of Carl Junction, Missouri; along with many nieces and nephews.
Roberta's claim to fame: 'I survived the Joplin Tornado!'
