(From Simpson Funeral Home)Martha Dean Carsten age 93 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Benjamin Taylor and Maud (Ball) Taylor on November 19, 1929.
Martha loved to square dance, to play cards with her senior group and loved to listen to music.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Carsten, Jr of Webb City, Larry Carsten of Joplin; and one grandchild, Katheryn Pikey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carsten, Sr.
The family will have a visitation on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. After the visitation the family will have a private graveside committal at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
