(From Clark Funeral Home)Carol Anne Jones Harris, beloved Mother and Grandmother, of Hixson, Tennessee, formerly of Diamond, Missouri, entered into rest on April 21, 2023 at the age of 62.
Carol was born August 2, 1960 in Joplin, Missouri, one of four children to Everett and Doris (Farmer) Jones. She was a graduate of Diamond High School.
Carol had worked at Big Smith in Carthage for many years; as a retail store manager for Joann Fabrics in Joplin and other locations and currently worked as a co-manager at Hobby Lobby in Hixson, Tennessee.
She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and family, sewing and doing arts and crafts. She attended the Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamauga, Georgia.
Carol is survived by three children, Rusty (Jessica) Stramel of Chickamauga, Georgia, Emily (Larry) Swinehart of Clarksville, Tennessee and Robby Harris of Carthage; two grandchildren, Stella and Stetson Stramel; her parents, Everett and Doris Jones of Neosho; her siblings, Eddie (Renee) Jones of Neosho, Cathy (Tom) Trewyn of Grove, Oklahoma and Lisa (Bruce) Youngblood of Diamond, as well as other family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Diamond Cemetery, Diamond, Missouri. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm.
