(From Ferry Funeral Home)Donald “Soaky” James Soukup, age 71, of Nevada, MO died Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Truman Lake Manor, in Lowry City, MO.
Donald was born November 5, 1951, to Adolph James and Gracie Laverne (Howard) Soukup.
He was a high school graduate and worked in building and concrete construction.
Donald is survived by two daughters, Cody Martin and her husband, John of Nevada, MO and Betty Malcom Payne and her husband Mike of Joplin, MO. He has one grandson, Tony Whitney. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Stanley and two sisters, Frances and JoAnn.
Family and friends will gather at the home of Eric and Staci Anderson, on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm to celebrate Donald’s life.
