(From Weng Funeral Chapel)Lela J Kelley went home to be with her Heavenly Father on June 24,2025 at the age of 98. She was born on October 4, 1926 to the late Levi Daniel Titus and Lucy Franzen.
Lela is preceded in death by her first love Raymond Mitchell, her second love Thomas Kelley, son Tommy Kelley, sons-in-law Otis Slade and Steve Carpenter and grandson Mark Appenzeller.
Lela is survived by her children Anna (Phil) Appenzeller, Louise (Henry) Rees, Jane (John) Ringleb, Linda Kelley, Lela (Larry) Kenney, Vickie Bowling, Peggy (Kenny) Zielinski, Pam (Jody) Woitas, Leslie (Reggi) Carpenter as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Lela enjoyed many things in her life here on earth including spending time with her kids, reading her books, putting puzzles together, and laughing at those pesky squirrels that refused to stay out of her bird feeders. We will never forget the look we all got when she’d catch us sneaking a fresh baked cookie from her stash.
