Kari Wisdom

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

It is with a heavy heart that I, Sarah Wisdom, share the passing of my beloved mother, Kari Lynn Wisdom, who left us on October 13, 2025. Born in Frontenac, Kansas on January 12, 1967, Kari lived a life that was a testament to her courage, intelligence, empathy, and inspiring nature.

Kari was a beacon of light for all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit was a product of her deep Christian faith, her love for old-fashioned traditions, and her unique gifts that came with her Aspergers.

She was a devoted homemaker, an epitome of elegance and grace who made our home a haven of love and peace. Her radiant, almost childlike aura brightened countless lives. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a brilliant mind, she became a source of wisdom and understanding for many.

Kari was a retired Walmart Spark Driver, but she never stopped serving others whether it was through her delicious meals, the beautiful clothes she sewed, the soaps and candles she made, or the wisdom she shared through her keepsake book on the meaning of home. Her legacy is not defined by trophies or careers, but by truth, love, wisdom, and courage.

Kari’s life was not without storms, but she weathered them all with an inspiring resilience and an unwavering faith in God. Her favorite verse, Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose," was her guiding principle in life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack LeGrand and Mary LeGrand, and is survived by her loving daughter, myself, Sarah Wisdom.

A graveside service was held at 9am on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at Oronogo Cemetery with Chaplain Kyle Beverlin officiating. Kari's services are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home. In celebrating Kari's life, we invite you to share your memories and photos on her memorial page at www.simpsonfh.com. Your tributes will serve as a comforting reminder of the love she spread and the lives she touched.
