Shelly Morrow

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Shelly Denice Morrow, age 56, was received into the mercy of God after a fight with brain cancer on October 11th, 2025. Her passing was peaceful, and with loving family.

Shelly was born on July 8th, 1969, on Tinker Air Force Base to Bruce Wayne and Mary Newlan. She graduated from Neosho High in 1987, and later founded one of Neosho's first dedicated cell phone retail outlets, Cellular Mobile Systems. She married her beloved husband and co-founder, Stephen Patrick Morrow IV and together they raised one son, Alec Christopher Morrow.

Shelly was a pillar of new business in Neosho, MO, and surrounding areas, where she served as a symbol of aid and expertise, training much of the youth in sales and constantly caring for those in need. Shelly loved family, a good bit of mischief, laughter, and to party. She was known for her beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes, her intelligence, and her ferocious and unrelenting spirit as a mother and entrepreneur. She loved children, cooking, all sorts of music, singing, dancing, swimming, gardening, animals, traveling, concerts, tobacco, wine, and cell phones. She loved having company and talking to people.

Shelly was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Wayne, and her brother-in-law, Kevin Morrow.

Shelly Denice Newlan is survived in holy union with Stephen Patrick Morrow IV; by her mother, Mary Newlan; her stepfather, Mike Newlan; her son, Alec Morrow and wife, Sintique and their two daughters, Aida and Maria; her sister, Dawn Newlan; her niece, Kelly Dannels and husband, TJ; her grandmother, Shirlee Newlan; her brother-in-law Anthony Morrow and wife, Carmen and their children, Landon, Piper, Harper and Jensen; her sister-in-law Jana Myers and husband, Robert and their two sons, Kevin and Max; her closest lifelong friends that functioned as family amidst life's changes, Angie, Kelly, Missy, Karen, Krista, Jennifer, and many, many other family, friends, and colleagues.

A memorial service available to all who wish to remember Shelly will be held at 2PM on October 20th at Clark Funeral Home. As Shelly is being cremated, there will be no casket.

Donations to help Alec with expenses can be made to Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.

"Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace."
