Frieda B. Eggerman, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Thursday, March 1, 2018, in the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation at the age of 94 years.
She was born on April 13, 1923 in Lafe, AR to Ludwig and Caroline (Godecke) Drittler. Frieda was united in marriage to Willard Eggerman on August 4, 1946 in Lafe, AR. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, and caretaker. Frieda was an avid seamstress and gardener. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Women Missionary League, and the Lockwood American Legion Post #372 Auxiliary.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ludwig and Caroline Drittler; her husband, Willard Eggerman; and four brothers, Emil Castens, Henry Castens, Chris Castens, and Louis Castens.
Survivors include five sons, Donald Eggerman and wife Bonnie of Springfield, MO, Derald Eggerman and wife Lisa of Lockwood, MO, Gerald Eggerman and wife Patty of South Greenfield, MO, Garland Eggerman of Lockwood, MO, and Eldon Eggerman of Lockwood, MO; one daughter, Wiladine Eggerman and husband Mike Bigger of Boulder, CO; twelve grandchildren, Jeremy Eggerman, Kelly Eggerman and wife Jenifer, Stacy Snider and husband Kenny, Sara Beerly and husband Brad, Devon Eggerman and wife Lindsay, Natalie Cunningham and husband Jason, Jamie Eggerman, Jacob Eggerman and wife Jennifer, Laura Bigger, Jonathan Eggerman and wife Sara, Jenna Sexton and husband Dustin, and Eli Eggerman; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. until service time in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Women Missionary League, Hospice Compassus, or to the Good Shepherd’s Good Endings Room.
