Robert Glenn Wammack, age 29 passed away at 8:19 am, Monday, March 5, 2018 at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, KS.
Glenn was born June 14, 1988 in Joplin, MO. His parents were William H. Wammack and the late Lori Diane (Cagle) Wammack. He had lived in Pittsburg for one year, moving from Joplin, MO.
He graduated from Galena (KS) High School with the class of 2007. He then earned an Associate Degree in the Police Academy at MSSU. He was currently employed as a security officer at the Kansas Crossing Casino in Pittsburg. He had previously worked six years in security at Downstream Casino,
Glenn was a member of Bethel Community Church, Baxter Springs, KS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. But his greatest joy was spending time with his two daughters.
Surviving are two daughters, Adyson Wammack and Alivia Wammack, both of Webb City, MO; His father and stepmother, William “Willie” and Kathy Wammack, Joplin, MO; one brother, Jason Wammack, Lenexa, KS; one sister, Tabitha Wammack, Wichita, KS; grandmothers, Roberta Wammack, Galena, and Patricia Cagle, Neosho, MO; his girlfriend, Tyler Karnes, Pittsburg, KS; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Community Church Kitchen Fund in care of the funeral home.
