Jeanie Ann Longman, 63, Granby, died June 10, 2014 at her home, following an illness.
Jeanie was born Sept. 5, 1950 in Granby, the daughter of Burley and Velma (Sitler) Carterman. She was a lifelong area resident and worked as assistant manager at Ramey’s Grocery Store in Granby. She enjoyed going to casinos and her dog, Peanut.
Jeanie and Robert C. Longman were married in 1968 at Diamond and he preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 2004. She is survived by a son, Brian Longman and wife, Sandra, and a daughter, Lisa Drake, both of Diamond; five grandchildren, Colton and wife, Brittney; Chase, Blake, Alyssa and Ashlyn; one great grandchild, Bailey; one brother, Kenny Carterman, Grove, OK and four sisters, Nancy Zartman, Eldorado Springs, MO; Peggy Eutsler, Billie McDermott and Ginger Payne, all of Granby. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and a step granddaughter, Megan.
