Robert Lovejoy

Robert Lee Lovejoy, (Captain Bob), 73 passed away June 8, 2014 at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital.

 He was born in Haywood, Wisconsin to Albert and Josephine (Clark) Lovejoy who passed when he was 9 he was lovingly raised and adopted by Aunt Elizabeth Ziebell and Uncle Clarence Ziebell. Robert was a carpenter and worked for Ron Dale Construction. He moved from Iowa and Wisconsin then to California where he met his wife Dorothy Stevens and they have been married for over 50 years and lived in 2 homes. Robert was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was a volunteer carpenter helping to build the new addition.

 Robert is survived by four sons Steven Lovejoy (Jo), Michael Lovejoy (Tammy), Anthony Lovejoy (Kristen) and Patrick Lovejoy. Seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, two sisters Mary Lou Lindarman (John) and Betty Jo Wilson (Randy), one brother Ralph Lovejoy (Wilda). Robert Lovejoy a great man an awesome Dad, the world won’t be the same without you! Your wit, wisdom and kindness were your calling card. We were so blessed to have you as our guide. Godspeed Captain Bob.
