(From Parker Mortuary)David Wolfgang Logan, age 43 of Joplin Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Freeman West in Joplin Missouri.
David was born April 19, 1978 in Houston Texas, and moved to Missouri as a child. He attended Webb City Senior High.
David held a welding certification and a computer programming certification, but his real passion was construction. David started at age 12 with his stepfather, roofing and learning how to build homes.
David owned and operated Logan's Home Improvement LLC. He was well known for his work ethic, his excellent and very creative building abilities, and also his woodworking skills.
David loved, and was first and foremost a family man. He loved the outdoors and being busy. He liked working on and rebuilding cars and Hot Rods. He liked going to Mo-Kan with family and friends.
He was quick to lend a helping hand, a smile, and jokes. David was good at giving advice and words of encouragement. David will be deeply missed.
David was proceeded in death by his grandmother, the family matriarch, Bessie I. Logan, and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include, his wife, Lori Logan, whom he had been with for 29 years, his son Issac Logan, daughter in law Lyndsay Logan, and granddaughter Rin Logan, a daughter Olivia Logan and partner Steven Southerlan, all of Joplin Missouri, mother, Nina E. Logan and stepfather William (Bill) Kmick of Asbury Missouri, sisters Maggie Logan of Joplin, and Karen Logan of Exeter Missouri; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
