(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Elizabeth Bourey, age 104, of Neosho, Missouri, formerly of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 9:16 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Oak Pointe of Neosho. She was born February 7, 1917, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of George
Everett and Mary (Howard) Pendleton.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Marionville High School in Marionville, Missouri and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Aurora.
On April 10, 1940, she married Arthur Raymond Bourey, in Longmont, Colorado. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2002.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Vicki Bunzel and her husband, Ronald, of Neosho; three sons, Andrew Bourey and his wife, Alison, of St. Louis, Missouri, Stanley Bourey and his wife, Marie, of Elgin, Illinois and James Bourey and his wife, Linda, of Aurora, Missouri; ten grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary; husband, Arthur; sister, Ethel Wood and three brothers, Leroy, Carl and Howard Pendleton.
A funeral mass, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Aurora. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Aurora. A rosary will be held from 6:00-6:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022, with visitation to follow from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, in care of the funeral home.
